All/Doctor, but especially these. My preference for Doctor is flexible: I love the faceless and even genderless Doctor, my OC Dr. Hana (Canon/OC), and even other people's OCs regardless of gender! Details are about my own Canon/OC dynamic and/or lore here.
※ My OC just happens to be a girl and I happen to be gay for her since childhood.

Details

They met in Victoria and had an academic rivalry, the diligent SilverAsh naturally clashed with the lazy yet genius Dr. Hana. Her dislike for nobles made for a bad first impression for both of them. That rivalry slowly turned into friendship, which then turned into romance. As they are naturally competitive, even when dating, they still compete and banter, even when flirting (where Dr. Hana usually comes out victorious).

As time passes, they grow up and eventually part ways to the paths they choose for themselves...and their relationship regresses into a superficial one, where they only seek each other for "comfort", both wishing for a fake sense of safety on each other's side. They no longer see each other eye-to-eye. Before they know it, they hide a lot of unimportant and important things from each other, only keeping sweet words and gestures on the surface. They can be intimate and close physically, but in reality, they're growing far apart. Even their pure love for each other slowly but surely twists into something else. They feel no hesitation or remorse in using each other for their own plans and goals.

In truth, SilverAsh wants her to stay the same, an eternally blooming and unchanging flower in his desolate garden. This makes him view her pre-amnesia self more, which makes her resent him. He also eternally waits for her to come to him.

※ I still love them very much, but it's been YEARS since I last deeply thought of their lore (last is probably 2021), so the summary might pretty outdated - it's taken from what I wrote and my memory (hell, I don't even know some things of what I said. Why would SA wait for her? What is he waiting for? I don't know LOL) and may not reflect the current lore and my current feelings.

The complicated relationship between a suicidal girl and her chosen, willing executioner. But because killing her means granting her wish, Flamebringer refuses to do it, at least for now.

They care about each other in their own ways and have a sexual relationship, but they don't hold romantic feelings.

Details

Phantom was sent to kill Dr. Hana, but she kept him around to possibly kill her in the future as she has some kind of death wish. Over time, as they spend time together, they start to genuinely care about each other, but there is no romantic feelings between them. Though they may have sex once in a while for comfort.

The more he loves her, the more it feels he's being called to grant her wish of death - something he desperately doesn't want to do. He wants her to live...and he wants to live alongside her.

"Doctor. Promise me. You must not die yet...not before I discover the truth." Saying "please live for me" is too selfish of him and he doesn't think he has the qualification to say it, so this is all he can say.

Details

The serious and strict Vigil nags Dr. Hana for being so carefree and laid-back. But instead of hating him, she enjoys his nagging, much to his chagrin. She also enjoys bantering with him and teasing him. At first, Vigil acts pretty rude towards her, especially when he considers her an unprofessional lazy bastard, but over time, he becomes softer. He's still exasperated at her antics, but there's affection there. Like in his idle line, "Oi, is my cooperation with you only watching you sleep??", as he falls in love, he just sighs and puts a blanket/his jacket over her.

※ It's funny how sweet and fluff they are compared to my other Arknights ships lol. Gotta balance out the darkness with some fluff.

I thought about them since 2022, but honestly, it's mostly for funsies or lust. So even now, I'm still not exactly sure what their "main timeline" lore is. Initially, I thought about how their relationship started with a drunk sex (with Mlynar being drunk), and it all snowballed (or improved?) from there somehow. Perhaps Mlynar felt guilty and couldn't stop thinking about her, and Dr. Hana certainly took delight in teasing and bothering him, which then turned into a real relationship - one Mlynar would probaby deny. However, I'm not sure I want to keep it for the "main timeline". I just know that I can't see them having a straightforward and sweet, fluffy romance. They certainly have a complicated relationship.

This ship is hilarious. Vigil would be exasperated at Dr. Hana's antics while Penance lets it slide "because she's cute", much to his chagrin. He is the designated driver when the girls (or rather, Penance, as Dr. Hana can't) get drunk. He might get jealous when Penance gloats how they drink together and have secret "girls' talk".

In short, this is just bullying Vigil: the saga. It'd also be fun if both Vigil (somehow) and Penance get drunk, so they cling to Dr. Hana and fight.

To be honest, I didn't really like enemies-to-lovers trope. Maybe I still do. I didn't get it, but I came very close to understanding it with this ship, where Chikage has a one-sided rivalry with Wakaba. Chikage hates her and views her as a rival, yet at the same time, she also admires and loves her...which she finally realizes and admits as she's dying in Wakaba's arms. How romantic and tragic. I cried.

※ Chikage is my favorite character in the series. To write this, I skimmed the manga again, and I teared up a bit seeing her death again LOL. I remember I cried re-reading the light novel a few years ago, too. Some things don't change. God, I love her so much. I saw her dying in the light novel, then the manga. Do I have the guts to watch her die again in the anime? I'm not sure.
