Re: #Holostars situation

I'm not going to mince my words this time. This will be more negative than my previous message.

"Holostars fans don't actually watch/support them!" To people who say this...Pēdīcābō ego vōs et irrumābō.

It's a rhetoric I've seen MANY TIMES over the past 6+ years and frankly, I'm SO SICK of it. Is that all you can keep parroting and repeating like a broken radio? It's VERY disrespectful to the fans who have done so much. And if you're asking for proof, there's a lot, you're just blind to it because 1) you're not in the fandom, 2) you ignore it because it doesn't suit your agenda.

"You should've just supported them harder."

The things is, there's only so much us fans can do. We watch their streams. We clip their streams. We talk about them, livetweets or not (I've done a lot of livetweets and I've seen a lot of livetweets!). We make fanworks, writing and drawing alike. We buy their voice packs and merch - Holostars' AGF (Animate Girls Festival) merch is especially infamous for being a bloodbath, where the merch is SOLD OUT in mere seconds. We attend their paid events/concerts - I personally PAID for these (1st ACT, 2nd ACT, 3RISE, Movin' On!, Big Field Day), the first two concerts sold out all venue tickets within hours, the venue tickets for Movin' On! SOLD OUT IN MERE SECONDS with a lot of fans not getting any, and I know people who even flew to Japan to attend concerts. We make various fan projects, from drawings, web only, to offline gatherings - even expensive ones like billboard ads and train station ads (by the way, Holostars 5th anniversary train station ads by Indonesian fans reached its hefty donation goal in MERE HOURS).

Is that all nothing for you? What else do you want us to do?? What else are we supposed to do?? Becoming a promotor?? We can promote them, sure, but it's NOT our job, and again, there's only so much we can do - our reach is limited. Becoming a shareholder??? Don't make me laugh.

Are you saying all of that is not enough? What is "enough"? What can be considered "enough"? What is the metric? At this point. it feels like NOTHING is ever going to be enough. All the boys' efforts - with all their blood, sweat, and tears, and all the fans' efforts are NEVER going to be enough in your and management's eyes. The ceiling will only keep raising higher and higher with no break or end in sight, and we'll never be able to meet it.

After 6+ years of working hard, only to be told that all of our efforts are STILL not "good enough" is VERY devastating. And I'm so sick, tired, and frustrated of seeing the boys and fans get undermined again and again.

The funniest thing is, us fans can't even give the boys money even if we want to now, as there are no more merch, not even digital voice packs! It's insanity. (There's still superchat and memberships, but.) It is said support is cut off due to not making profits, but then, HOW THE HELL are the boys going to make money like this when they can't sell anything, not even digital voice packs?? WHAT THE HELL do you want, CVR??

Regardless, once again, I'll keep supporting Holostars until the very bitter end. I'll go down with the sinking ship.Fold
