I saw someone saying elsewhere that what had happened today, with the explosion in viewership numbers, won't change anything. That the decision is made, so it won't change anything.
This might be a "waffle and pancake" situation or me putting things in their mouth, but to me, their reply feels...dismissive? I'm not sure how to word it. I'm lacking dictionary today, sorry.
Like yeah, maybe it won't change anything in the end. But for them to be unhinged and gaining more viewers in this supposedly "last stretch", is that such a bad thing?? Is it bad and wrong of us fans to have fun with them and to clutch a glimmer of light (hope) in the darkness? Is it bad for us fans to be happy that more people notice them and find out how funny they are, even if it's "the last moments"? Are you saying that all of us - the boys and fans - should just bite our lips and back down without a fight, with dark and gloom?
I don't think so. It's good to be realistic, but being too pessimistic ain't it, either. They boys are doing this exactly because there's nothing to lose. If things come crashing down, at least they put up a fight and they'll go out with a bang, and us fans will have amazing memories. I say let us have the last hurrah. I'd rather things end with some positivity in it, in our own terms. The attention may help them "later on", too.
I hope that makes sense.
In conclusion:
It may be the end. So let’s make the most of what’s left. Let’s laugh, go feral, and support Holostars louder and harder. Even if it doesn’t change the outcome, it still means something. Or so I think and believe.Fold
