Watched Detective Conan: One-eyed Flashback #anime #movie today!!
Once again no free poster and collectible tickets lol, but yay for photo area and standees!! (The standees are the same as in cafe collab, but)
I can't say much about the movie yet (maybe later) other than...it juggled multiple characters, relationships, and plot lines pretty well. It was fun!!
Furuya's role is pretty minor, but what substance there is, I love it ☺️

After much contemplation, I ended up rolling for Andoris. Yay, won 50/50 and got Andoris in 60 rolls!! ...Eh?? 2 ANDORIS IN 10 ROLLS?!?! 🤯 I saw someone saying about this possibility, but I sure didn't expect it'd happen to me. Wow. 💀 Why couldn't this happen to Dolls that need (and I want their) V1...?? Stupid desire sensor!! 😂😭😭😭 I am NOT clicking that "Fortify" button!!!

I don't think I have a lot of popular fanon in my fandoms that I disagree with. Funnily enough, the only thing that comes to mind (at least right now) is in a fandom where I don't dip too much into fanfic - Girls' Frontline 1.
My blorbo Negev is often depicted as a yandere, when she isn't actually one. She was a shy and weak dork who wishes to be strong, that's why she found yandere characters cool and even dyed her hair pink following that. Then, a certain tragedy cemented her desire to become stronger even more, and be strong she did - enough to turn a delusion that she's a team leader into reality. She does have a bit of a blood knight tendencies, but that's not yandere - she's just acting tough and prideful. She even gets embarrassed when Commander oathed (married) her. In short, she isn't a yandere, she's a sweet girl who cares about the people she loves, and tries to hide her weakness behind a facade of being tough/strong (including yandere-ish/blood knight persona).
Another one, perhaps even more egregious due to her massive popularity, is HK 416/Clukay (Neural Cloud)/Klukai (Girls' Frontline 2). She's often depicted as a clingy, jealous, even somewhat yandere girl, partly due to her famous line, "I am all you need." But see, Girls' Frontline 1 has an interesting segregation between the main story and the gameplay. Her personality in the story (and she's a recurring character, so you see her plenty) is different from her personality as a playable T-Doll (which I call gameplay). In the main story, she didn't work with Commander (the player character) until much later, and even then, she doesn't really behave like fanon believes she is. It doesn't help that MICA (the developer), knowing she's popular, also leaned to that angle somewhat and made her strong in 2 other games - in Neural Cloud as Clukay and in Girls' Frontline 2 as Klukai. There's even an instance in the later major event (main story) where she gets some focus with the Commander, which I frankly found a bit forced. She IS prideful and even haughty, though, being an elite T-Doll, and even had a beef with another T-Doll because of that.

- Since you mentioned LiveJournal, its fork, Dreamwidth, is still alive and well. Archival take more steps, but doable.
- Join a WriteFreely instance that is free and has open registration. I joined Paper.wf and Rant.li. WriteFreely is the software that powers Write.as, and Write.as is an instance, but unfortunately paid only now. Archival is very easy. Moving/copying your posts to another instance is very easy.
- Bear Blog. I have never tried this before so I don't know the details, but I've heard good things about it.
- If you're willing to go pretty deep into personal indie small web world, make your own website. The easiest would be to host it in Neocities or Nekoweb, though they can only host static website in free tier, so people like to use SSG (Static Site Generators)...which aren't exactly beginner-friendly. But there are blogging engine people made usable for Neocities that are more beginner-friendly, like Zonelets, Zonelots (Zonelets with tagging), and Tabvoid.

To actually play it myself in-game, now knowing the little details like how the kid's parents hear someone knocks on the door, but finds nobody when they open the door (because it's too late, she already turned into ink)...holy shit, that's dark. 💀
[REDACTED] = I'm also so shocked when Nikki and Momo just straight up die lmao. That caught me off-guard. I was like, "HUH?? DID WE FUCKING DIE???". I didn't know that one. The narration went, "Rain fell, and Nikki and Momo were never seen again" or something. 💀 And of course they're so chill about it lmaoooo please, you just died and time rewound, be more surprised?? 😭😭😭
By the way, I chose to tell the parents the truth. I saw someone saying she (and the others) might get saved when we get to the ink realm (I haven't seen spoilers of chapter 2), but...I think telling the truth is the best. I think it's also cruel to lie to them, to let them keep hoping that their daughter will come back someday (in case she'll never come back).
And the revelation that her parents were actually talking and reflecting on their bad treatment of her when she knocked on the door, and that's why they didn't hear it at first, and thus being too late to save her? Too late to improve their relationship? OOF. THAT'S DARK AND EVEN MORE HAUNTING, WTF. 💔💔💔 I swear, for some reason, the stories that hit me the most in this game involve "bad" parents and their kids. Maybe because I understand and relate to the kids to a degree. And of course, the mother's last words of regret is haunting. 💔Fold

I might've rolled (a lot) more yesterday, but honestly, I'm still unsure whether I want to most likely spend 300 rolls for Shu or not. She's great to have, especially for AFK strats (mostly courtesy of Oyuki), but most of the times, there are still replacements. I have 600+ rolls right now (900+ including OP), so I should still be safe even for the next limited banner, but...ugh. What a dilemma. In the end, I continued to roll for now.
